SEATTLE-NORTHWEST CHAPTER, NACD

The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), is the premier national educational, publishing and consulting organization in board leadership and the only membership association for boards, directors, director-candidates and board advisors. As a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation, NACD promotes high professional standards for board and director conduct, practice, and performance, creates forums for peer interaction, enhances director effectiveness, asserts the policy interests of directors, conducts research, and educates boards and directors concerning traditional and cutting-edge issues.

The Seattle-Northwest Chapter, NACD (SNW NACD Chapter), was chartered by NACD to enhance corporate governance in the Seattle-Northwest Region (Washington, Alaska, Oregon and Idaho), and provides a local educational and networking opportunity for individuals who serve as directors of corporations and business organizations from all industries, public and private, profit and non-profit. Our vision is to prepare members for effective Board of Director roles within the region and foster the positive image of corporations and business organizations through improved corporate governance. The principal emphasis of the SNW NACD Chapter and its events will be to provide vital information and education to current NACD members and their guests.

We present monthly events open to NACD Members and their guests. Our programs are interactive sessions, with panels of knowledgeable directors, officers and advisors from the region's leading businesses covering challenging topics. Our goal is to help make you an active, valuable contributor to your board. If you sit on a board, advise a board, work with a board, or are a candidate to join a board, here is an unusual opportunity to learn from the region's business leaders.
